ASIA BLOCK

ASIA BLOCK a naturally derived extract from the cell wall of saccharomyces cerevisiae, an animal feed ingredient and fermentation additive. The mannan oligosaccharide content is approximately 50% of the carbohydrate fraction.
ASIA BLOCK is derived from the outer portion of the cell wall of the yeast Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. This product contains phosphorylated mannan oligosaccharide that are scientifically proven to be beneficial for shrimp. ASIA BLOCK is a mainstream solution a promising alternative for ANTIBIOTICS in Aquaculture programs.
ASIA BLOCK blocks the colonization of pathogenic bacteria. ASIA BLOCK serves as a decoy, tricking or fooling pathogenic bacteria into thinking the ASIA BLOCK molecules is the lectin binding sites in gastrointestinal tract (GI tract).
Pathogenic bacteria need to attach to these Lectin Binding Site in order for them to be absorbed into GI tract and cause infection. The pathogenic bacteria attach to the ASIA BLOCK molecule and prevented or blocked from attaching to the GI tract. These bound pathogenic bacteria are then excreted out of the shrimp gut, starve and die, leaving the harmless to the aquatic environment.
Benefits and Advantages:
1. Binds pathogenic bacteria and promotes the growth of goods bacteria, avoids disease outbreak.
2. Works in feed and in water. A dual performance.
3. Increases survival rate in hatchery and grow outs.
4. Can be used as a replacement to antibiotic, thus avoiding residues in the shrimps/prawns.
5. By avoiding stress from pathogens prevents secondary infections.
Typical usage levels range from 2 to 3 grams/kg/feed TWICE a day every morning and evening with 500gms per 5000m2 in 1m depths of water.
